Detailed Healing Guide

First 24 Hours

✦ Keep your bandage on for 2-3 hours
✦ When removing bandage, clean gently with warm water and fragrance-free soap
✦ Pat dry with clean paper towel - no cloth towels
✦ Apply a thin layer of aftercare product
✦ Let the tattoo breathe - avoid re-covering

Days 2-3: Initial Healing

✦ Wash 2-3 times daily with warm water and fragrance-free soap
✦ Apply thin layer of aftercare product after each wash
✦ Tattoo may feel warm and appear red - this is normal
✦ Avoid tight clothing over the area
✦ Sleep on clean sheets; avoid sleeping directly on the tattoo

Days 4-7: Peeling Phase

✦ Tattoo will begin to peel - this is normal
✦ DO NOT pick or scratch the peeling skin
✦ Continue washing 2-3 times daily
✦ Keep moisturizing with aftercare product
✦ Avoid swimming, saunas, and excessive sweating

Weeks 2-4: Final Healing

✦ Continue moisturizing regularly
✦ Protect from sun exposure
✦ Can resume normal activities but be gentle with the area
✦ Once fully healed, always use SPF on tattooed area

Important Don'ts During Healing

✦ No swimming or submerging in water
✦ No sun exposure or tanning beds
✦ No picking or scratching
✦ No tight or abrasive clothing over the area
✦ No heavy exercise for the first few days
