THE LOST DIGITS
In 2015, after spending far too long on the Worldometer website, I created these characters called “The Lost Digits”.
WHO ARE THE LOST DIGITS?
The Lost Digits are colourful and bright eyed, the eyes purposefully hold expressions where the mouth is bound.
My work speaks for those who go through life without their story being told, or shared; the people who are afraid to speak up, as well as the people who are confident enough to speak up but constantly get shut down, those who feel unheard, unnoticed, unappreciated… and lost.
I aim to highlight that there is no difference in the literal value of life, and I use these characters as a reminder to people of all ages, that YOU are more than just a number on the global census… and despite creed or class, anyone can wear a crown.

The Lost Digits represent everyone who feels unheard, unnoticed, unappreciated… and lost.
The Lost Digits are a reminder to people of all ages, that YOU are more than just a number on the global census… You are making a difference and your difference matters.
